Wednesday, April 14, 1954ELGIE WALTZ DIED HERE EARLY WEDNESDAY
Elgie Waltz, well-known farmer living near Lorimor, died this Wednesday morning, April 14, at Madison county Memorial hospital in Winterset. He had been admitted to the hospital Tuesday.
Mr. Waltz was 63 years of age. He was born Dec. 1, 1890.
He is survived by his wife, the former Lena Grout. He also leaves two sons, Robert Waltz of Aberdeen, D. Sak., and Glen Waltz of Des Moines; five grandchildren; three brothers, Louie and George Waltz of Winterset and Emerald Waltz of Minburn; and four sisters, Mrs. Grace Hermon of Earlham, Mrs. Jewell Dicks of Adel, Mrs. Francis Pratt of Winterset and Mrs. Ruth Young of Newton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday from the Winterset Church of Christ, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Warren Hile. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
