James E. Walker, a former resident of Truro, died at Colfax, Calif., on Dec. 11, according to word reaching here this week. He was 84 years of age.
Mr. Walker left Iowa in 1932. He lived at San Francisco until his health failed three years ago then went to live with a daughter in Roseville.
His wife, the former Lenora Hayden, whom he married in 1895 preceded him in death in 1920.
He leaves three children, Mrs. Faye Bell of Roseville, Mrs. Nona Stiles of Ft. Dodge and Merrill Walker of Rivera, Calif., five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a brother N. M. Walker of Truro.
