MRS. SUSIE HORRAS DIED ON SATURDAY

Funeral Rites Held Monday From Anderson's Funeral Home

Mrs. Susie Horras, a resident of Madison county for 50 years, died last Saturday at her home on the west edge of Winterset. She was 86 years of age.

Mrs. Horras was born at Sigourney. She was the former Susie Hein, daughter of Nick and Margaret Hein. Her early life was spent in that community.

She was married March 31, 1881, to Henry Horras, in the Catholic church of which they were both members. They lived for two years near Sigourney, and then moved to a farm near Spencer. In 1892 they moved to Madison county, where they spent the remainder of their lives.

Twenty-eight years ago they moved to the home in Winterset where her death occurred. Mr. Horras died several years ago.

She is survived by one son, John Horras of Winterset, one grandson, Glendale Horras of Des Moines, and four sisters of Sigourney.

Funeral services were held Monday from Anderson's Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. L. F. Davis of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
