JOE GUIBERSON Dies At Age 65

A merchant in Winterset for 47 years before his retirement, Joe I. Guiberson died Friday, January 23, 1976 at Memorial Hospital in Winterset. He was 65 years of age.

Mr. Guiberson was born March 9, 1910 in Winterset, the son of Tom Guiberson and Ida Rae Jones Guiberson. His marriage to Mildred V. Keever was solemnized July 3, 1938 at the Methodist Church in Creston.

Affiliated with the Methodist Church, Mr. Guiberson was employed in the dry cleaning business throughout his life.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Guiberson and a daughter, Kay Skellenger, also two grandchildren.

Funeral services for Joe Guiberson were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 26 from Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, the Rev. Paul Bousfield presiding. Burial was made at the Winterset Cemetery.
