Jefferson twp.-After a long & painful illness, on Wed. Feb. 10, Mrs. Henrietta Killem, wife of Mr. Timothy Killem, of this twp., departed the "shores of time and has gone to that rest that remains to the people of God". Her disease was dropsy of the heart. Her patience & resignation under the weeks of pain she was called upon to endure, was wonderful. For over 40 years, she has been a member of the M. E. Church, and before being called away, she had the pleasure of seeing all six of her children, and her adopted daughter. Striving to follow the Blessed Master, and they, with the bereaved husband, expect by the grace of God to meet her in the better land.
