December 11, 1996Marge Paullin, 68, of Winterset, died of cancer Dec. 10, 1996 at her residence. Funeral services will be Fri. Dec., Dec. 13 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Winterset. Pastor Bobby G. Dickerson will officiate the services and burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, from noon until 8 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.
She was born in Winterset on April 13, 1928 to Earl and Blanche Irene (Davis) Dick. She married Charles Gerald Paullin on May 12, 1946. She was a retired waitress having worked at the Gold Buffet. She was a lifetime resident of Madison County and a member of the first Christian Church in Winterset.
She was preceded in death by her father, her stepfather, Pat Banks; and her mother, Irene Banks.
Surviving relatives include her husband of Winterset; one son, Daniel G. Paullin and wife Darcy of Winterset; two daughters, Nancy S. Anker and husband Gary of Winterset and Connie J. Wilson and husband Bill of Ankeny; one brother, Wallace Dick of Douds; one sister Patty Harsh of Adel; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Middle River Hospice.
