Services for Ruth Paullin, 84, Winterset, who died Nov. 22 at the Winterset Care Center North, were held at the Collins Funeral Home on Nov. 25 with the Rev. Bob Brite officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born at Greenfield on May 31,1902, she was the daughter of Alvin and Laura Butler Johnson. She married to G. C. Paullin on Jan. 17, 1923 at Winterset.

Mrs. Paullin lived all her married life around Madison County and was a member of the Zion Federated Church, the Farm Bureau and the Prairie Hoosier Club.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Wayne and Gerald, both of Winterset, and Rex of Clinton, Ill.; a daughter, Frances Wyatt of Heber Springs, Ark.; a brother, James Johnson of Winterset; a sister, Ethel Henry of rural Earlham; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
