Mrs. Olive O. Finney, member of a family long prominent in Madison County, died here Monday, March 13, 1950. She was 80 years of age.

Olive Van Dusen Finney was a native of Indiana, where she was born near New Carlisle, on April 13, 1869. She came with her family to Madison county, and was reared in this community.

She was married to Harlow H. Finney, May 23, 1886. Their active years were spent in farming in Jackson township. They retired and moved to Winterset a numer of years ago. Mr. Finney died here in 1947.

Mrs. Finney is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wes Eivins and Mrs. Mamie Donaldson, both of Winterset; two sons, George Finney of Winterset and Gail Finney of Jackson township; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She also leaves three brothers, Mark, Vern and Charles Van Dusen, all of South Bend, Indiana.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday afternoon from the Richards Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Glenn Parrott, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Pleasant View cemetery.
