George Andrew Heston, 41, of New Virginia died Feb. 5, 2006.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 9, at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial was at Humeston.

Andy Heston was born March 15, 1964, in Chariton to George and Delores Heston and was a 1982 graduate of Mormon Trail High School. He resided in Arizona; Dallas, Texas; and Indianola before moving to New Virginia where he had lived for the past eight years. Andy had worked for Communication Technologies in Huxley for over 28 years. He was united in marriage to Kim Moore on May 30, 1998, at Hickory Hills Park in Medora. He attended the New Virginia United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Kim, of New Virginia; one son, Zach Moore of New Virginia; a brother, Chuck Heston of Ridgecrest, Calif.; three sisters, Paula Stearman of Shawnee, Okla., Jerri Alexander of Rogers, Ark., and Cindy Miller of Ankeny; and his stepmother, Hilda Brown of New Richmond, Wis.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a memorial to be decided at a later date.
