Funeral services for Vivian Robinson, long-time resident of Madison county were held this Wednesday afternoon from the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.

Mr. Robinson died Monday June 16 at University Hospitals in Iowa City. He was 71 years of age.

Vivian Lester Robinson was born in Madison County on Feb. 1, 1898, a son of Albert and Mary (Harloritz) Robinson. He spent his lifetime in this county, with the exception of two years in Kansas.

He was married to Edna Kaye at Winterset on Dec. 29, 1926.

Mr. Robinson was a carpenter by trade. He was a member of the First United Methodist church of Winterset. Surviving in addition to his wife are; two sons, Wayne Robinson of Winterset and Delmar Robinson of Princeton, Indiana; six grandchildren; one sister, Fay Emerson of Winterset; and five brothers, Gail, Marvin, Ralph, Raymond and Dean, all of Winterset.

He was preceded in death by a son, Delbert, who died in infancy.

Officiating at the funeral this Wednesday was ths the Rev. E. K. Burham. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
