Funeral services for Laura Marston Finney, 95, were held Fri. Oct. 30, 1992, at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Donald Frank officiating. Mrs. Finney died October 27, 1992, at Bethesda Care Center in Winterset.

She was born in Madison County February 22, 1897, to Arthur B. and Sarah (Evans) Marston. She married Gail E. Finney November 10, 1920, in Pitzer. She was a homemaker and lifetime resident of Madison County. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son; and four sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Lohr and husband Earl of Winterset; a sister, Alta Marston Sawhill of Eugene, Ore; two grandchildren, Julia Bryant of Manitowoc, Wis., and Joleen Finney of Earlham; and one great-grandson, Stephen Bryant of Manitowoc, Wis.

Burial was in Winterset Cemetery.
