Burial services were held for Kenneth Lynn Spera, 74, of rural Winterset, Saturday, August 30, 1986 at First United Methodist Church. Pastor Clarence Lautt conducted the services and burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.
Mr. Spera was born September 7, 1911 in Independence, Ia., the son of John C. and Annetta Drager Spera. He was a longtime resident and farmer west of Winterset and active in the West Star Methodist Church until its closing, then became a member of the United Methodist Church in Winterset. He resided in Winterset and is survived by his wife, Lois, whom he married August 3, 1963.
Other survivors include a son, John, Winterset, a daughter, Sharon Libby, Winterset; and his grandchildren, Daniel Libby and Jed Spera.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby Brownlee Spera; his parents, and three brothers, Guy, Raymond and William.
