MRS. K. L. SPERA Died Saturday

Mrs. Kenneth Spera of near Winterset died Saturday, April 14, 1962, at Memorial hospital in Winterset, after an extended period of failing health. She was 43 years of age.

Mrs. Spera had been a resident of Madison county for the last 20 years. She was the former Ruby Jean Brownlee, daughter of Glenn and Grace Christensen Brownlee, and was born Jan. 29, 1919, at Coin. She graduated in nursing from Mercy hospital in Council Bluffs in 1940.

She was married Jan. 25, 1944, at Atlantic, to Kenneth L. Spera. Their married life was spent on a farm in Lincoln township. She was a member of the West Star Methodist church.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Sharon, aged 17; a son, John, aged 14, her mother, Mrs. Grace Brownlee of Coin; four brothers, Dale Brownlee of Northboro, Ray Brownlee of Coin, James Brownlee of Farragut, and Bruce Brownlee of St. Charles.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Collins Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Lewis E. Lint. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
