Winterset, IowaFRED DEBORD DIES IN KANSAS CITY
Fred DeBord, a native of Winterset, died Monday in Kansas City, Mo., according to word received here that evening by relatives.
Mr. Debord was 65 years of age. He was born here, a son of Edd and Joanna DeBord, and spent his early life in this community.
He leaves a son, Fred DeBord Jr., four grandchildren of Kansas City and a sister, Mrs. Mary Fry of Moline, Ill. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae, by his parents, and by three sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at Independence, Mo.
