25 March 1992Funeral services for Chris A. Lee, 86, were held Fri. March 20 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. William Rieckhoff officiating. Mr. Lee died March 17 at Winterset Care Center South.
He was born November 27, 1905 in Dexter to Oscar and Anna M. (Frech) Lee and married Mary Burd December 24, 1926 in Des Moines. He was employed by the Iowa State Highway Commission and was a member of First United Methodiat Church. He moved from Dexter to Winterset 81 years ago.
Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his wife and a sister.
Survivors include a son, Charles, and wife Jeri, of Winterset; a daughter, Rose Anne Miesenheimer of Greenfield; nine grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.
