Funeral services for Carrie E. Williams, 97, were held Mon., March 25 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating. She died March 21 at Bethesda Care Center where she was a resident.

A lifetime resident of Madison County, she was born in Monroe township July 31, 1893 to J. Henry and Ella (Meyerhoff) Pope. She married Billie Williams October 7, 1931 in Bethany, Mo. She was a homemaker, had attended Deer Creek and Ord New Hope Christian Union Church, and was a member of the Clover Club, Farm Bureau and G.O.L. Club of Lorimor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, and a sister. Surviving are two nieces.

Burial was in Winterset Cemetery.
