Ollie Maurice Haines, 75, died September 17 at Bethesda Care Center. Services will be held Fri. Sept. 21 at 1`0:30 a.m. at First Christian Church with Rev. Leonard Leslie officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from noon to 9:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Being a lifetime resident of Madison County, Mr. Haines was born in Winterset on December 9, 1914 to Ora Robert Haines and Mable Holmes Haines. He married Fay Armstrong on December 9, 1934.

Mr. Haines was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Eldon Haines.

He is survived by his wife, Fay, of Winterset; Jim Haines of Des Moines, and his daughters, Shirley Foshe of Ocala, Fla. and Alice Fritz of Grand Junction. Six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.

Burial will be at Winterset Cemetery.
