Iris Elaine Ham, 93, died of a heart ailment Aug. 20, 2000 at Winterset Care Center South.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24 at the First United Methodist Church in Winterset with Pastor Bobb Barrick officiating. Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 23, at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset where family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Burial will be at Winterset Cemetery.
Iris Ham was born Aug. 4, 1907 to Frank Leon and Flora Hannah (Simmons) Fairholm of Bingham Canyon, Utah. She married Thomas M. Ham on March 6, 1929 in Winterset. A retired teacher, Iris had resided in Winterset for most of her life. She was a member of AVA, Order of the Eastern Star, Winterset Women's Club, Madison County Historical Society and the First United Methodist Church in Winterset.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
