27 May 1998Bob Divelbiss Sr., 57, of Macksburg died from complications of an aorta disorder May 21, 1998 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
Funeral services were held Tuesday May 26 at the Foursquare Gospel Church in Winterset with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating. Burial was in the Moon Cemetery near Macksburg.
Bob Divelbiss was born Jan. 5, 1941 in Kansas City, Mo., to Roy E. and Viola (Clark) Divelbiss. He married Gloria Billbrey on May 23, 1964 in Des Moines. He moved to Macksburg from Des Moines seven years ago. Bob was a traffic and warehouse manager for Eagle Iron Works and also was a member of the Transportation Club and various local and national pigeon-raiser organizations.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Robert (wife Kassi) of Oskaloosa; one daughter, DeDe Farnham (husband Matt) of Mesa, Ariz., and one sister, Sandra Booton of Carlisle.
Collins Funeral Home in Winterset handled the arrangements.
