Mrs. Wright was a good wife and a loving mother. She was a kind neighbor and friend of all. She lived for her home and for her children. The yearning of her soul was for their happiness and their success. She loved the Church, her Bible and her Redeemer. Her soul was exultant with hope in the future life, and although the voyage was stormy, she was not afraid.

In the new life in vision splendid she lives forevermore.

The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. Clarence Bigelow, pastor of the Church of Christ in Adel, assisted by the regular pastor, A. N. Simpson. Impressive services in the church, on account of the rain were held by the Order of the Eastern Star. The many floral tributes given were highly expressive of the very high esteem in which the deceased was held.
