EVA McKIBBEN PRICE

Eva McKibben Price, daugher of Everett and Hattie McKibben, was born March 5, 1907, and passed away August 9, 1971. Her childhood days were spent on a farm between Earlham and Adel.

She graduated from the Earlham School.

Eva was a member of the United Methodist church of Earlham, and was an active member as long as her health permitted. She also served as president of the Methodist WSCS.

On May 12, 1931, she was united in marriage to Charles Price. They made their home for many years in Earlham, then moved to Marshalltown where she has been hospitalized until her death.

Eva was a lovely person, and she was truly a witness of God.

Even though her sickness was of many years, her love for people never ceased. She was so cheerful, and happy to have friends call on her.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Charles, her mother Hattie McKibben, her sister Lucille Brown, her brother-in-law William Brown, one niece and two nephews, besides other relatives and friends.

The memorial service was held in the United Methodist church in Earlham on August 12 at 1:30 p.m. John H Baxter conducted the service in the absence of Rev. Ward Young who was on vacation.
