Leslie T. Phillips, 87, of Adel died of complications of Alzheimer's disease Monday at Perry Lutheran Home in Perry. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Fisher Funeral Home in Adel with burial in Moon Cemetery near Macksburg

Born near Macksburg, Mr. Phillips had lived in Adel since 1951 and was a retired welder for Pitt-Des Moines Steel.

Surviving are three sons, Tom of Rogers Ark., Bob of Adel and Dean of Palatine, Ill., two daughters, Mary Lou Youmans of DeWitt and Dorothy Jensen of Rogers, Ark; a sister, Ruby Carter of Pleasantville; 26 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may all from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
