Ruby I. Dorsey, 78, of Parkridge Manor Care Center, Pleasant Hill, died of a heart ailment Saturday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home, with burial at Moon Cemetery near Macksburg.

Mrs. Dorsey was born in Macksburg and lived in the Des Moines area all her life. She was a homemaker and member of Highland Open Bible Church.

Survivors include two sons, Douglas and Darwin, both of Des Moines; eight daughters, Ethyl Atteberry, Sandra Robinson, Charlotte Robinson, Delores Dorsey, Kathy Stanley, Karen Johnston and Barbara Kiesling all of Des Moines, and JoAnn Ward of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters, Nora Evans of Runnells, Ruth Aniana of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Esther Connor of Mesa Ariz; 27 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
