Arnett "Mike" Waddingham, 75, of Macksburg died May 29, 1994 at his home.
Services will be 2 p.m. at the Coen-Beaty Funeral Home in Creston with the Rev. Edwin Van Holland and the Rev. Clyde Sparks officiating. There is open visitation after 2 p.m. today with a family night from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The casket will be closed. The body will cremated and interment of cremains will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the Moon Cemetery at Macksburg.
Mr. Waddingham was born Sept. 3, 1918 in Hancock County to George Timothy and Anna Lena (Blumer) Waddingham. He married Irene Minnie Suckow Sept. 18, 1941 in the Little Brown Church at Nashua. He lived in rural Ventura and Clear Lake until moving to the Macksburg area in 1967. He was a farmer and a truck driver. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Macksburg.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Waddingham of Macksburg; six sons, Tim of Macksburg, Michael (wife Marlene) of Lorimor, Richard (wife Mindy) of Cromwell, Terry (wife Carla) of Winterset, Steven (wife Debbie) of Macksburg and Kevin (wife Cindy) Waddingham of Creston; three daughters, Vicky (husband Rick) Blair of Lorimor, Connie (husband Ben) Stonehocker of Macksburg and Debra (husband James) Eyerly of Midlothian, Va., 17 grandchildren; two brothers, Curtis (wife Mabel) of Klemme and Ardell (wife Tressa Mae) Waddingham of Ventura; and a sister-in-law, Helen Roths of Klemme.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Harold; a son, Kenneth; and a grandson.
