KENNETH THOMAS

Kenneth Paul Thomas, 52, died of a heart attack May 5, 1993 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Macksburg. The Rev. Ed Van Holland will officiate the service. There is open visitation from noon to 9 p.m. today at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with a family night from 7 to 8 p.m.

Mr. Thomas was born March 30, 1941 in Madison County to Laurence Merle and Thelma (Harpole) Thomas. He worked as a machinist at Brown Bear Corporation in Corning. He lived in Union County for the past 11 years and previously in Madison County.

Survivors include a brother; Phillip Thomas of Bloomington, Minn., a sister Jean Winebrenner of Peru, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
