Page 1Death of Greenwood Child
Mary Jane Greenwood, 7-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Greenwood of Winterset, died at the Winterset hospital Saturday. The child had been ill with whooping cough, which developed into pneumonia.
The baby was born on March 2, 1937. Nearest surviving relatives are its parents.
Funeral services were held Sunday from the Tidrick funeral home in Winterset, in charge of the Rev. M. R. Talley of the Methodist church. Burial was made at a cemetery near Greenfield.

Mary Jane Greenwood, seven months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Greenwood, died at the Winterset hospital September 25, following whooping cough which developed into pneumonia. She was born March 2, 1937.
She leaves her parents and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Saunders of Fontanelle, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Greenwood of Winterset; her great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Pauley of Atlantic and Mrs. Ira Greenwood of Winterset; and other relatives.
Funerals services were held Sunday at the Tidrick funeral home conducted by the Rev. M. R. Talley, pastor of the Methodist church; burial was in Grove Center cemetery in Adair county.
