Anna Pearl Peters, 88, of Winterset died of a heart ailment there Friday. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Kale Funeral Home in Truro, with burial at Ebenezer Cemetery in Madison County.

Mrs. Peters was born in Winterset and had lived in Peru before returning there 18 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Peru Women's Society.

Surviving are a daughter, Helen Stephenson of Winterset; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m.

Anna Pearl Peters, Winterset

Funeral services for Anna Pearl Peters, 88, formerly of Peru, were held Mon., Dec. 2 at Kale Funeral Home in Truro with the Rev. Tapiwa Mucherera officiating. Mrs. Peters died November 29, at Bethesda Care Center, where she was a resident

She was born April 14, 1903 in Winterset, the daughter of Perry and Anna (Breeding) Jones and attended Madison County country schools.

She married Frank Robert Peters March 1923. She was a homemaker and a member of Peru Women's Society. She had lived at North Ward Plaza, Winterset, for 17 years, moving to Bethesda Care a year ago.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1958 and a son.

Surviving are a daughter, Helen Stephenson of Winterset; a daughter-in-law, Lois Peters Scovel of Lorimor; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Burial was at Ebenezer Cemetery, Madison County.
