Donnie Ray Mitchell, 46, of Lorimor died Dec. 6, 1991, at the Ottumwa Regional Center in Ottumwa.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Coen-Beaty Funeral Home in Creston. The Rev. Dwayne Henrichs will officiate the service. Burial will be in the Moon Cemetery at Macksburg. There is open visitation after 9 a.m. today with a family night from 7 to 8 p.m.

Mr. Mitchell was born March 23, 1945, in Guthrie County to Irven and Doris (Gilbert) Mitchell. He married Debbie Stagg in 1970, and they were later divorced. He attended Menlo School through ninth grade. He worked as a meat cutter in Perry and Winterset, and with a construction company in Des Moines.

Survivors include a son, Marc Mitchelll of Costa Mesa, Calif.; a daughter Amy Mitchell of Iowa City; parents, Irven and Doris Mitchell of Lorimor; brothers, James (wife Cheryl) of Creston, Robert (wife Karla) of Afton and Keith (wife Karen) Mitchell of Thayer; sister, Sheryl (Mrs. Pat) Kerrigan and Judy (Mrs. Mike) McCarthy of Afton.
