CLIFFORD BRUETT

Clifford Paul Bruett, 76, of Winterset, died April 19, 1995 of a heart attack at his home. Funeral services were April 24 at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. The Rev. David Bauer officiated the services and burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

He was born in Madison County on July 14, 1918 to Charles Nathan and DeVona (Cline) Bruett. He married Maxine Bek on Sept. 25, 1945 in Winterset. He was a retired farmer and a lifetime resident of Madison County. He had served in the United States Army during WW II.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and three sisters. Surviving relatives include his wife; two sons, Paul E. Bruett and wife Cathy of Winterset, and Gary Bruett and wife Susan of Wabash, Ind., one daughter, Kathy Mahan and husband Paul of Lakewood, Colo; one sister, Margaret DeVault of Winterset; one sister-in-law, Ruby Bruett of Winterset; and five grandchildren.
