Wednesday, December 12, 1973Mrs. Anna Paull, a long-time resident of Madison County died Tuesday, December 4 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. She was 82 years of age.
Mrs. Paull was born at What Cheer, Iowa on July 28, 1891 the daughter of William and Madolyn Bates Thompson. She was married to Harvey L. Paull at What Cheer, Iowa in 1913.
A resident of Madison County for the past 38 years, Mrs. Paull was active in Eastern Star, P.E.O., the Madison County Antique Association, Iris Club, Fortnightly, and Current Topic Club. She was affiliated with the Trinity Episcopal Church of Winterset.
Surviving are her husband, Harvey L. Paull of Winterset and two sons: Harvey C. Paull of Mitchellville, Iowa and George (Bill) Paull of Winterset. Five grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Paull was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, December 7 at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Winterset, with Father Robert W. Kem of the St. Andrews Church in Des Moines officiating.
Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery.
