Services for Ralph Edwin Cline, 64, Winterset who died Nov. 17 at Madison County Memorial Hospital, were held Tuesday Nov. 20 at the First United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Charlie Morrow officiating. Full military graveside services were held at the Winterset Cemetery by the VFW.

Born in Winterset on Oct. 26, 1920, he was the son of Patrick and Myrtle (Seiler) Cline. He was a lifetime resident of Winterset.

Mr. Cline was veteran of the army in World War II and a retired postal clerk. He was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees; Iowa Postal Workers Union; Winterset Art Center, serving as director; VFW; American Legion; Des Moines Art Center; Iowa Arts Council; life member of the Madison County Historical Society and Amateur Iowa artists. Mr. Cline was very active in the art center here and helped for many years in promoting activities there.

Survivors include brothers, Glen, Gail and Murray, all of Winterset; sisters, Norma (Mrs. Frank) Junkin of Earlham, Wilma (Mrs. Donald) Jordan of Peru, Janice (Mrs. Ralph) Feldman of Van Meter and Jeanne (Mrs. Donald) Kieck of Ames. He was preceded in death by his parents.
