Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon from the First Methodist Church in Winterset for Viola Ann Jordan, a resident of this county the past 17 years.

Mrs. Jordan died July 5 at University Hospitals in Iowa City. She was 39 years of age.

A daughter of John A. and Elizabeth (Knight) Warn, she was born in Polk County, Ia, on June 14, 1928. A former nurse's aide at Iowa Lutheran hospital in Des Moines, she was a member of the Methodist church and Lily of the Valley club.

She was married to Lee Jordan on Jan. 15, 1950, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Gail and David at home; her parents of Des Moines; and a sister, Deloit Romig of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nona Ann, in 1963.

Officiating at the service last Saturday was the Rev. Everett K. Burham, Methodist pastor. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
