Donnabelle Neal, 75, died at the Madison County Memorial Hospital on Friday July 4, 2003 of leukemia. Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 8, 2003 at the United Presbyterian Church in Dexter, Iowa at 10:30 a.m. with burial in the Dexter Cemetery.
Donnabelle was born in Altamont, Kansas, however lived most of her life in Madison County. Donnabelle was a nurse at the Madison County Memorial Hospital until her retirement in 1998. She was a member of the Fairview Congregational Church, the Winterset Pythian Sisters, Professional Music Entertainers of Iowa, the Dexter Eastern Star, Sweet Adelines, ICCI, and one of the County Clover Trio singing group.
She is survived by sons, Steven Neal of Earlham and Gregg Neal of Houston, TX.; daughters, Barbara Kalbach of Dexter and Jean Scott of West Des Moines' sister, Rita Meeks of Edna, KS.; brothers, Burl Sandusky of Lovelock, NV. Vernon Sandusky of Edna KS, John Sandusky of Altamont, KS. and Ron Sandusky of Coffeyville, KS.; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and long-time companion, Duane, "Robbie" Robinson of Stuart.
Friends may call Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Kuhn Funeral Home in Dexter where the family will greet freinds from 6 to 8 p.m.
