LESLIE N. JORDANWinterset

Leslie N. Jordan, a native of the Macksburg community died Monday, Nov. 10 at San Diego, Calif., following a heart attack. He was 46 years of age.

Mr. Jordan was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Norris Jordan, and was born and spent his early life in Madison County. He entered the U.S. navy when he was 17 years of age, and had retired four years ago after 25 years of service.

Surviving are his wife; two brothers, Kenneth Jordan of Marshalltown and Marvin Jordan of Houston, Tex.; and five sisters, Uva Ray of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Fay Black of Earlham, Mrs. Elva Mobley of Lorimor, Mrs. Opal Locke of Winterset and Mrs. Lettie Willcox of Winterset.

Funeral services and burial were held in San Diego.
