Henry Schrader Buried Thursday

Farmer, Aged 68, Was Fatally Injured in Fall on Ice

Henry J. Schrader, whose death from injuries sustained in a fall on the ice was reported here last week, had been a resident of Webster township in Madison county for the last six years. He was 68 years of age.

Mr. Schrader was a native of Peoria county, Illinois, where he was born April 27, 1881, the son of Herman and Elizabeth Schrader. When he was a small boy he came with his parents to Adair county where most of his life was spent.

He was married Jan. 24, 1907, to Ella Mumford. They were the parents of five children, one of whom preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife; four children, Mrs. Alice Low and Harry Schrader of Stuart, Mrs. Esther Hamner of Winterset and Mrs. Helen Knees of Adair; four grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Schrader of Knoke and William Schrader of Stuart; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Kehrt of Knoke and Mrs. Opal Wakefield of Greenfield; and a half brother, John Harsh of Stuart.

Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Birkford funeral home in Greenfield in charge of the Rev. Marvin R. Hudson, pastor of the Oak Grove church. Burial was made in the Greenfield cemetery.
