A. D. Crooks, a prominent clothing merchant of Greenfield, died at his home in Greenfield, Saturday, September 5th, at the age of 61 years. Mr. Crooks was a cousin of Dr. R. S. Cooper and Judge W. S. Cooper of Winterset and had been in Winterset a number of times. Dr. and Mrs. Cooper and Mrs. John A. Guiber drove to Greenfield, Monday afternoon, to attend his funeral services, which were held at 3 o'clock at the home. Mr. Crooks leaves his wife, and one son and one daughter.
