Page 1, Column 3Word was received here yesterday of the death of Arthur Sumner of Blair, Nebraska, at the age of 67 years. The family are well known here, living in Lincoln township until some ten years or more ago.
Mr. Sumner had had a growth near one of his ears and that his physicians thought was not of a malignant nature, but it grew worse and he underwent an operation at Omaha last summer. Little information is known by the family here at this time but it is supposed the growth affected the brain, causing his death.
He leaves his wife, who was Dora Moore, and two sons, Leon and Howard; also one sister, Gertrude and two brothers, W. C. and R. F. Sumner all of Winterset.
