BRADLEY PATTERSON DIES AT 75 YEARS
Death of Madison County Farmer Occurred Friday

Bradley M. Patterson of near Winterset, a life-long resident of Madison county, died Friday April 5, at a nursing home in Osceola. He was 75 years of age.

Mr. Patterson was born in Lee township on Nov. 13, 1892, a son of William D. and Clyde Bird Patterson. He served in the U.S. armed forces during World War 1. Most of his active life was spent in farming in Scott township.

He was married to Lucille Smith, who survives him.

Mr. Patterson was a member of the First Christian church, in which he had served as an elder. He was a 50- year member of the Masonic lodge, and a member of the American Legion.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, William D. Patterson of Winterset, three daughters, Mrs. P.L. Stone of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Karol Gurney of Danville, Calif., and Mrs. Dick Duncan of Minneapolis, Minn; five grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Bird A. Wiley of Winterset. One daughter, Phyllis, died in 1935.

Funeral services were held Monday from the First Christian church in Winterset, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. William E. Bowles. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
