Services for Albert L. Laizure, 80, of rural Winterset, who died Friday, June 14, 1968, at Iowa Methodist Hospital of cancer, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
Mr. Laizure was born in Madison county, April 29, 1888. He retired from farming in 1958. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winterset. His wife died in 1960. Rev. H. E. Borum officiated at the services.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Clyde O. Yates and Mrs. Wilbur R. Kirkman, both of Des Moines, and Mrs. Burr E. Tyrrel, of Leawood, Kan.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren
