MRS. HUGH YOUNG Died here Monday

Mrs. Hugh Young of near Winterset died this Monday, Dec. 21, 1970, at Memorial hospital here. She was 69 years of age.

Mrs. Young was a life-time resident of Madison County. She was the former Faith Rose Bond, daughter of William and Olive E. Smith Bond, and was born in this county April 16, 1901.

She was a former school teacher, with 20 years of teaching in the schools of Madison county.

She was married April 20, 1924, to W. H. (Hugh) Young, in Adair county.

Mrs. Young was a member of the Oak Grove church.

Surviving are her husband; her mother, Mrs. Olive Bond of Winterset; a daughter, Mrs. Wilbur Marxen of Lewis; three grandchildren; one great- grandchild; a brother, Nelson Bond of Earlham; and three sisters, Mrs. Fern Kerns, Mrs. Lillian McAdow and Carol Bond, all of Winterset.

Funeral services were to be held at 1:30 p.m. this Wednesday from the Collins Funeral home here, conducted by the Rev. Charles Updike, pastor of the Winterset Foursquare church. Burial was to be in the Winterset cemetery.
