MARY HAM, Winterset

Mary R. Ham, 89, of Winterset died Feb. 3, 2006, at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 6, at the First United Presbyterian Church in Winterset with Pastor Jim Howland officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.

Mary Ham was born Sept. 3, 1916, to Fred and Nellie (Cameron) Ham of Peru. She resided in Kansas City, Mo., while attending the Keister Tailoring School where she graduated in 1949. In April 1960, Mary began working at Joe Graham Printing and worked there until her retirement on Oct. 15, 1983. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church where she served as treasurer from 1971 to 1992, and the Winterset Art Center where she served as treasurer for 19 years.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Ham. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Helena Ham of Des Moines, and a nephew, Dennis Ham of St. Louis, Missouri.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the First United Presbyterian Church in Winterset or the Winterset Art Center.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.
