Carl W. Binns, 64, died Sept. 26, 1994, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services are Thur. Sept. 29, 1994, at 1:30 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. The Rev. Don Frank will officiate with burial at the Winterset Cemetery. Visitation will be today, Wed., from noon - 9 p.m. with family visitation 7 - 9 p.m.

He was born April 25, 1930 in Madison County to Fred and Margaret Mitchell Binns. He married Rose Knapp in Stuart on Aug. 20, 1952. He was a farmer and a lifetime resident. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a former member of the Webster Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving relatives include his wife; one son, Randall K. Binns and wife Robyn of Omaha, Nebr.; two daughters, Ginger K. McGee of Winterset and Suzanne M. Klemm and husband Mark of Winterset; one brother, Paul W. Binns of Winterset; six grandchildren, and two children raised by the Binns, Allan Mitchell of Carlsbad, Calif. and Roberta Lind of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
