Services for Margaret Cena Binns, 77, rural Winterset, who died May 18, 1984, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines, were held Monday, May 21 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Updike officiating. Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery.
Born in Mills County on March 11, 1907, she was the daughter of Charles and Bertha Williams Mitchell.
She was a homemaker and spent most of her life here. She was a member of the Webster Methodist Church, the Royal Neighbors and the Webster W.S.C.S. On Aug. 20, 1927, she married Fred Binns in Madison County.
Survivors include her husband; her sons, Carl and Paul both of Winterset; brothers Edward Mitchell of Madrid and John Mitchell of Des Moines, a sister, Dorothy Driscoll of Winterset; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
