ADA A. BINNS, Dies in Colorado

Ada A. Binns of Greeley, Colo., a native of Winterset, died July 15, 1980, at Weld County General Hospital in Colorado at the age of 88. Mrs. Binns and her husband had moved to Colorado from Iowa in 1926.

Born on June 8, 1892, in Winterset, she was the daughter of William and Sara Elizabeth Shaw Brock. On Dec. 25, 1912, she was united in marriage to John Binns at Winterset. He preceded her in death on Nov. l6, 1979.

They moved to Briggsdale, Colo., in 1926 and to Greeley in 1931. For several years Mrs. Binns operated a juice bar at the Snow White Grocery. She was a member of the Iowa Club, Amico Club and the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Bernice Steiner of Douglas, Ariz., and Phyllis Cooper of Omaha, Neb.; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter.
