COLORADO RITES FOR JOHN BINNS

John William Binns of Greeley, Colo., a Madison County native, died last month in Greeley. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 20, in the Macy Allmutt Drawing Room with burial in the Eaton Cemetery at Eaton, Colorado.

Born on December 21, 1891 in Madison County, he was the son of Benjamin Shaw and Emaline Kentfield Binns. He grew up in Webster Township and on December 25, 1912 was married to Ada Brock who survives him. In 1926 they moved to Briggsdale, Colo., where they lived for five years before moving to Greeley, Colo. in 1931.

Mr. Binns was an employee of Weld Company Garage for almost 30 years, having retired at the age of 80. He was a member of the Methodist Church, Amico Club and the A.A.R.P.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Seiner of Douglas, Ariz., and Mrs. Phyllis Cooper of Omaha, Neb.; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren..
