Ellen Lenore See, Winterset

Ellen Lenore See, 78, of Winterset died of cancer Aug. 10, 1998, at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Winterset, where she was a member. Burial of the cremains will take place at a later date.

Ellen See was born May 25, 1920, in Des Moines. a homemaker, she had been a resident of Winterset for the past nine years. She previously lived in Booneville.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Lavern See of Van Meter; one son, Dan R. See of Winterset; one daughter, Edith Berogan of Lorimor; two brothers, Al Marshall of Winterset and Glen T. Marshall of Hanford, Calif.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines.
