Mildred M. Majava, 74, died October 24, 1993 at Hillside Convalescent Center. Services will be today, Wed. Oct. 27, 1993 at 2 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Peru Cemetery.
She was born July 17, 1919 in Winterset to Thomas and Marvie Marie (Smith) Kephart.
She married Pete Majava June 1, 1985 in Des Moines. In 1938 she married her first husband, Charles Crawford who died in 1967. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Winterset.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband; one daughter; two brothers; and two sisters.
Surviving relatives include her husband; three sons, Don, Lloyd and Henry Crawford, all of Des Moines; two brothers, Anderson Kephart of Winterset, Tom Kephart of Spencer, three sisters, Edna Kephart of Winterset, Hazel Snell of Greenfield, Mary Chapman of Winterst; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
