Paul Jennings Abbot, Dawson, N.D.

Paul Jennings Abbot, 87, died September 8 in a Bismarck, N.D. hospital.

Born in Macksburg August 28, 1904, he was the son of Commodore Perry and Cora May (Barker) Abbot. He graduated from high school in Sandy Spring, Md. in 1924 and returned to Dawson, N.D. He married Olive R. Nicholson October 19, 1940 in Dawson. Mr. Abbot farmed, worked for the railroad, was a rural mail carrier, and a custodian of the Steele-Dawson School District for 20 years, retiring in 1963.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son and a brother. He is survived by his wife and many nieces and nephews.
