Maxine Miller, Peru

Maxine Loree Miller, 68, of Peru, died Dec. 31, 1996 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services were Jan. 3 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Winterset. Pastor Steve Koch officiated the services and burial was at the Peru Cemetery.

She was born in Madison County on Sept. 3, 1928 to Carl and Carrie (Fulton) Datwyler. She was a 1948 graduate of Winterset High School and married Ernest F. Miller on Sept. 3, 1948 in Winterset. She was a farmwife and had lived most of her lifetime in Madison County. She was employed in the bakery at Sack 'N Save in Winterset. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Winterset.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister.

Surviving relatives include her husband; one son, Carl Miller of Peru; one daughter, Carrie Cornelison of Murray; two sisters, Phyllis Rickets of Randle, Wash., and Carolyn Dillinger of Walford; five grandchildren and one step-grandson.
