Frank J. McLarnand, former Madison County farmer, died at the Oswold Nursing Home at Creston, Thursday, March 19 at the age of 89 years. Mr. McLarnand spent most of his life on a farm, southwest of Winterset and moved to Greenfield 15 years ago.
Funeral and burial services were held at Greenfield, Sunday afternoon. He is survived by his widow of Greenfield and 6 children: Albert of Milo, Wallace of Greenfield, Mrs Harlin Kirkland of Creston, Mrs. Lloyd Linn of Des Moines and Mrs. Edward Cameron of Greenfield. He also leaves 8 grandchildren, 1 son Floyd was killed in France, during WW2
